I started working in mental health in 2011 when I began working at a wilderness therapy program operating in Southeast Utah and Southwest Colorado. Since then I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups in settings including remote wilderness, barns, schools, and private practice. I consider my background and clientele to be eclectic: I have worked with a variety of ages, presentations, and issues, and focus on building a safe and trusting space to work with the goals a person comes in with.
“Kyle is a well versed and extremely helpful person to have as a therapist. He helped me work through some pretty traumatic childhood experiences, unraveling a new way of seeing things and providing me with a more informed perspective that has bettered my whole way of life.”
"I feel very fortunate to have worked with Kyle, and made meaningful progress in setting boundaries, navigating relationships, and tuning into trusting myself with his caring guidance.
At first I was concerned about working with a therapist in-person in small town, Kyle assured me of his confidentiality and professionalism and I can attest to that.
He used play and creativity to act out and explore concepts that I was struggling with. He was expert in suggesting activities that were helpful to embody and get to the root of the problems."
